Breast fibromatosis is a rare histologically benign tumor with local aggressive potential, and imaging and clinical findings of breast fibromatosis require attention. We retrospectively evaluated the images of 20 patients with histologically proven breast fibromatosis on mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasonography. The lesions were assessed concerning the location, fascia involvement, imaging characteristics, and follow-up outcomes. Altogether, there were 22 lesions: 10 lesions involved the superficial fascia system including four lesions additionally involving the deep fascia and pectoralis major, and 12 lesions were inside the glandular parenchyma with two lesions originated from the prior surgery site. The detection rates of mammography, ultrasound, and MRI for breast fibromatosis were 33.3% (3/9), 90% (18/20), and 100% (3/3), respectively. We found that fascia involvement may be a characteristic of breast fibromatosis. The lesion located inside glandular parenchyma is prone to be underestimated, whereas combined MR with ultrasound is recommended for the diagnosis. The complete excision with negative margins is important for a good prognosis.

Review
Cardiac fibromas are the second most common primary cardiac tumors in childhood. They only rarely present in adults. They are mainly located in the free wall of the ventricles and attached to the interventricular septum. Despite their benign pathology, fibromas in some locations can cause significant complications. This video tutorial illustrates the resection of a septo-apical cardiac fibroma in an asymptomatic 26-year-old woman, diagnosed with transthoracic echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging after an abnormal ECG on an occupational medical examination. Surgery was performed through a median sternotomy using cardiopulmonary bypass. A nodular intramyocardial mass was found at the left ventricular apex and resection was carried out. After removing the fibroma, a defect was found at the apex affecting both ventricles. The defects were closed using a direct suture of 4-0 polypropylene "U" stitches reinforced with a Teflon patch to exclude the ventricular cavity. Pathology confirmed the diagnosis of benign cardiac fibroma with tumor-free surgical margins. The patient recovered uneventfully and was discharged on postoperative day 5. The outpatient follow-up cMRI 10 months after surgery showed no signs of tumor recurrence and normal biventricular function.

Review
BACKGROUND
Atypical fibroxanthoma (AFX) is an uncommon, rapidly growing cutaneous neoplasm of uncertain histogenesis. Thus far, there are no guidelines for diagnosis and therapy of this tumor.
PATIENTS AND METHODS
We included 18 patients with 21 AFX, and 2,912 patients with a total of 2,939 AFX cited in the literature between 1962 and 2014.
RESULTS
In our cohort, excision with safety margin was performed in 100% of primary tumors. Local recurrences were observed in 25% of primary tumors and parotid metastases in 5%. Ten-year disease-specific survival was 100%. The literature research yielded 280 relevant publications. Over 90% of the reported cases were negative for cytokeratins, S100, desmin and human melanoma black 45 (HMB-45). Recurrent AFX was reported in 7.6% and metastasizing AFX in 2.75% cases. No significant differences in the recurrence and survival rates following wide local excision versus Mohs microsurgery were observed. Twenty-year disease-specific survival rate was 97.8%.
CONCLUSION
A well-selected panel of immunohistochemical markers is necessary to establish AFX diagnosis with sufficient certainty. Adequately treated, AFX has an excellent prognosis, but long-term follow-up is recommended due to the potential for aggressive behavior.

Review
Infantile digital fibroma is a rare benign lesion that usually occurs during the first 2 years of life. It can be multiple, but it is usually a single lesion. If it grows large enough it can cause joint deformities or interfere with everyday activities. Microscopically, the neoplastic cells usually have inclusion bodies that are best highlighted with a Masson trichrome stain but can often be seen on hematoxylin-eosin staining. Treatment for this entity is usually watchful waiting because of its ability to spontaneously regress, but excision is recommended if the lesion is symptomatic. More recently, fluorouracil or injectable steroids have shown great promise in inducing regression without the complications that accompany surgery.

Review
Plexiform fibromyxoma is a rare and newly described gastric mesenchymal tumor with only 121 reported cases in the literature. Our understanding of plexiform fibromyxoma requires updating since the first case has been reported by Takahashi et al. 12 years ago. The present review summarized reported cases in the literature, and both clinical and pathological aspects of plexiform fibromyxoma were comprehensively discussed. Plexiform fibromyxoma usually causes nonspecific or bleeding signs or symptoms, and therefore clinical recognition of the disease is challenging. Plexiform fibromyxoma is of benign nature without any metastasis or recurrence reported, and more conservative surgical treatment should be considered.
