IMPORTANCE
Self-management is a critical component of stroke rehabilitation. A better understanding of the use of theory and behavior change techniques (BCTs) informs the development of more effective stroke self-management interventions.
OBJECTIVE
To examine what theories and BCTs have been applied in stroke self-management interventions; investigate the extent to which these interventions encourage implementation of behavior changes; and appraise their effectiveness to enhance self-efficacy, quality of life, and functional independence.
DATA SOURCES
Ovid MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, and ClinicalTrials.gov were searched from inception to May 26, 2020.
STUDY SELECTION AND DATA COLLECTION
Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in six databases were reviewed for inclusion and analysis. We included trials that involved community-dwelling adult stroke survivors, assessed the effectiveness of self-management interventions, and explicitly mentioned the use of theory in the development of the intervention. We assessed use of theory and BCTs using the Theory Coding Scheme and BCT taxonomy v1, respectively.
FINDINGS
A total of 3,049 studies were screened, and 13 RCTs were included. The predominant theory and BCT categories were Social Cognitive Theory (7 studies) and goals and planning (12 studies), respectively. Significant and small effect sizes were found for self-efficacy (0.27) and functional independence (0.19).
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE
Theory-based self-management interventions have the potential to enhance stroke outcomes. Systematic reporting on the use of theory and BCTs is recommended to enhance clarity and facilitate evaluations of future interventions. What This Article Adds: This review supports and guides occupational therapy practitioners to use theory-based self-management intervention as a routine part of stroke rehabilitation to improve stroke survivors' experience in the community.

INTRODUCTION
PARP inhibitors (PARPi) are a standard-of-care (SoC) treatment option for patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Several clinical trials have shown the potential of combining PARPi with other anticancer agents. Therefore, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to comprehensively evaluate the efficacy and safety of PARPi in patients with metastatic prostate cancer.
METHODS
MEDLINE, Cochrane CENTRAL, EMBASE, CINAHL, and Web of Science were searched on March 22nd, 2023, for phase 2 or 3 clinical trials. Efficacy (progression-free survival [PFS], overall survival [OS], PSA decline >50% [PSA50], and objective response rate [ORR]) and safety outcomes were assessed in the included studies.
RESULTS
Seventeen clinical trials (PARPi monotherapy [n = 7], PARPi + androgen-receptor signaling inhibitors [ARSI] [n = 6], and PARPi + immune checkpoint inhibitors [ICI] [n = 4]) were included in the quantitative analyses. PARPi monotherapy improved radiographic PFS and OS over SoC in mCRPC patients with alterations in BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes but not in those with alterations in the ATM gene. Higher rates of PSA50 and ORR were reported in participants treated with PARPi + ARSI than in single-agent PARPi or PARPi + ICI. Although the rate of high-grade adverse events was similar across all groups, treatment discontinuation was higher in patients treated with PARPi-based combinations than PARPi monotherapy.
CONCLUSION
The efficacy of PARPi is not uniform across mCRPC patients with alterations in DNA damage repair genes, and optimal patient selection remains a clinical challenge. No unexpected safety signals for this class of agents emerged from this analysis.

INTRODUCTION
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are digital assets that are verified using blockchain technology to ensure authenticity and ownership. NFTs have the potential to revolutionize healthcare by addressing various issues in the industry.
METHOD
The goal of this study was to identify the applications of NFTs in healthcare. Our scoping review was conducted in 2023. We searched the Scopus, IEEE, PubMed, Web of Science, Science Direct, and Cochrane scientific databases using related keywords. The article selection process was based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA).
RESULTS
After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 13 articles were chosen. Then extracted data was summarized and reported. The most common application of NFTs in healthcare was found to be in health data management with 46% frequency, followed by supply chain management with 31% frequency. Furthermore, Ethereum is the main blockchain platform that is applied in NFTs in healthcare with 70%.
DISCUSSION
The findings from this review indicate that the NFTs that are currently used in healthcare could transform it. Also, it appears that researchers have not yet investigated the numerous potentials uses of NFTs in the healthcare field, which could be utilized in the future.

Individual participant data meta-analyses (IPD-MAs) include the raw data from relevant randomised clinical trials (RCTs) and involve secondary analyses of the data. Performed since the late 1990s, ~50 such meta-analyses have been carried out in psychiatry, mostly in the field of treatment. IPD-MAs are particularly relevant for three objectives: (1) evaluation of the average effect of an intervention by combining effects from all included trials, (2) evaluation of the heterogeneity of an intervention effect and sub-group analyses to approach personalised psychiatry, (3) mediation analysis or surrogacy evaluation to replace a clinical (final) endpoint for the evaluation of new treatments with intermediate or surrogate endpoints. The objective is to describe the interest and the steps of an IPD-MA method applied to the field of psychiatric therapeutic research. The method is described in three steps. First, the identification of the relevant trials with an explicit description of the inclusion/exclusion criteria for the RCT to be incorporated in the IPD-MA and a definition of the intervention, the population, the context and the relevant points (outcomes or moderators). Second, the data management with the standardisation of collected variables and the evaluation and the assessment of the risk-of-bias for each included trial and of the global risk. Third, the statistical analyses and their interpretations, depending on the objective of the meta-analysis. All steps are illustrated with examples in psychiatry for treatment issues, excluding study protocols. The meta-analysis of individual patient data is challenging. Only strong collaborations between all stakeholders can make such a process efficient. An "ecosystem" that includes all stakeholders (questions of interest prioritised by the community, funders, trialists, journal editors, institutions, …) is required. International medical societies can play a central role in favouring the emergence of such communities.

BACKGROUND
Smartphone apps are becoming increasingly popular for supporting diabetes self-management. A key aspect of diabetes self-management is appropriate medication-taking. This study aims to systematically assess and characterise the medication management features in diabetes self-management apps and their congruence with best-practice evidence-based criteria.
METHODS
The Google Play and Apple app stores were searched in June 2018 using diabetes-related terms in the English language. Apps with both medication and blood glucose management features were downloaded and evaluated against assessment criteria derived from international medication management and diabetes guidelines.
RESULTS
Our search yielded 3369 Android and 1799 iOS potentially relevant apps; of which, 143 apps (81 Android, 62 iOS) met inclusion criteria and were downloaded and assessed. Over half 58.0% (83/143) of the apps had a medication reminder feature; 16.8% (24/143) had a feature to review medication adherence; 39.9% (57/143) allowed entry of medication-taking instructions; 5.6% (8/143) provided information about medication; and 4.2% (6/143) displayed motivational messages to encourage medication-taking. Only two apps prompted users on the use of complementary medicine. Issues such as limited medication logging capacity, faulty reminder features, unclear medication adherence assessment, and visually distracting excessive advertising were observed during app assessments.
CONCLUSIONS
A large proportion of diabetes self-management apps lacked features for enhancing medication adherence and safety. More emphasis should be given to the design of medication management features in diabetes apps to improve their alignment to evidence-based best practice.

BACKGROUND
ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence based tool developed by OpenAI (California, USA). This systematic review examines the potential of ChatGPT in patient care and its role in medical research.
METHODS
The systematic review was done according to the PRISMA guidelines. Embase, Scopus, PubMed and Google Scholar data bases were searched. We also searched preprint data bases. Our search was aimed to identify all kinds of publications, without any restrictions, on ChatGPT and its application in medical research, medical publishing and patient care. We used search term "ChatGPT". We reviewed all kinds of publications including original articles, reviews, editorial/ commentaries, and even letter to the editor. Each selected records were analysed using ChatGPT and responses generated were compiled in a table. The word table was transformed in to a PDF and was further analysed using ChatPDF.
RESULTS
We reviewed full texts of 118 articles. ChatGPT can assist with patient enquiries, note writing, decision-making, trial enrolment, data management, decision support, research support, and patient education. But the solutions it offers are usually insufficient and contradictory, raising questions about their originality, privacy, correctness, bias, and legality. Due to its lack of human-like qualities, ChatGPT's legitimacy as an author is questioned when used for academic writing. ChatGPT generated contents have concerns with bias and possible plagiarism.
CONCLUSION
Although it can help with patient treatment and research, there are issues with accuracy, authorship, and bias. ChatGPT can serve as a "clinical assistant" and be a help in research and scholarly writing.

Prevalence of anti-Ro52-kDa/SSA (TRIM21) antibodies and associated clinical phenotype in systemic sclerosis: Data from a French cohort, a systematic review and meta-analysis.
OBJECTIVES
Estimate the global prevalence of anti-Ro52-kDa/SSA (TRIM21) autoantibodies in systemic sclerosis (SSc), and describe the associated clinical phenotype, through a systematic review and meta-analysis of published reports and new data from our French cohort.
METHODS
Anti-TRIM21 seropositivity and associated SSc characteristics were assessed in a cross-sectional study including 300 patients of Lille University Hospital. A systematic review of the literature was performed in Pubmed and Embase, followed by a meta-analysis, using data on prevalence, clinical/demographical/biological characteristics of SSc patients and the type of assay used for anti-TRIM21 antibodies detection (PROSPERO n° CRD42021223719).
FINDINGS
In the cross-sectional study, anti-TRIM21 antibodies prevalence was 26% [95%CI: 21; 31]. Anti-centromere antibodies were the most frequent SSc specific autoantibodies coexisting with anti-TRIM21. Patients with anti-TRIM21 antibodies were more frequently women (91% vs 77%, p = 0.006), more likely to present an associated Sjögren's syndrome (19% vs 7%, p < 0.001), had a higher rate of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (15% vs 6%, p = 0.017) and a greater frequency of digestive complications such as dysphagia (12% vs 5%, p = 0.038) or nausea/vomiting (10% vs 3%, p = 0.009) than anti-TRIM21 negative patients. Thirty-five articles corresponding to a total of 11,751 SSc patients were included in the meta-analysis. In this population, the overall seroprevalence of anti-TRIM21 antibodies was 23% [95%CI: 21; 27] with a high degree of heterogeneity (I: 93% Phet: <0.0001), partly explained by the methods of detection. Anti-TRIM21 seropositivity was positively associated with female sex (OR: 1.60 [95%CI: 1.25, 2.06]), limited cutaneous subset (OR: 1.29 [1.04, 1.61]), joint manifestations (OR: 1.33 [1.05, 1.68]), pulmonary hypertension (PH) (OR: 1.82 [1.42, 2.33]), and interstitial lung disease (ILD) (OR: 1.31 [1.07, 1.60]).
INTERPRETATION
Anti-TRIM21 antibodies frequently co-exist with usual SSc antibodies, but are independently associated to a higher risk of cardio-pulmonary complications. The presence of these autoantibodies should therefore be considered when assessing the risk of developing PH and ILD, and deserves further studies on appropriate screening and follow-up of patients.

OBJECTIVE
To identify the facilitators of and barriers to the implementation of Community Pharmacists-Led Anticoagulation Management Services (CPAMS).
DATA SOURCES
MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, and Cochrane CENTRAL Register of Controlled Trials were searched from inception until August 20, 2021.
STUDY SELECTION AND DATA EXTRACTION
All abstracts proceeded to full-text review, which was completed by 2 reviewers. Data extraction was completed by a single reviewer and verified. Analysis was completed using best-fit framework synthesis.
DATA SYNTHESIS
A total of 17 articles reporting on CPAMS from 6 jurisdictions were included: 2 Canadian provincial programs (Nova Scotia, Alberta), a national program (New Zealand), and 3 cities in the United Kingdom (Whittington and Brighton and Hove) and Australia (Sydney). Facilitators of CPAMS included convenience for patients, accessibility for patients, professional satisfaction for pharmacists, increased efficiency in anticoagulation management, improved outcomes, enhanced collaboration, and scalability. Barriers included perceived poor quality of care by patients, resistance by general practitioners, organizational limits, capping of the number of eligible patients, and cost.
RELEVANCE TO PATIENT CARE AND CLINICAL PRACTICE
The barriers and facilitators identified in this review will inform health policy makers on the implementation and improvement of CPAMS for patients and health care practitioners.
CONCLUSION AND RELEVANCE
CPAMS has been implemented in 6 jurisdictions across 4 countries, with reported benefits and challenges. The programs were structurally similar in most jurisdictions, with minor variations in implementation. New anticoagulation management programs should consider adapting existing frameworks to local needs.

To identify and synthesize the available evidence of youths with asthma and their experience of self-management education.
DESIGN
Systematic literature review of qualitative studies with meta-synthesis of findings.
DATA SOURCES
We searched five databases, CINAHL Complete, Embase, MEDLINE (EBSCO) PsycINFO, ASSIA and the Global Index Medicus (formerly the WHOLIS). Initial search in September 2019 and updated in July 2020 and July 2022.
REVIEW METHODS
The systematic review was conducted in accordance with the JBI methodology for systematic reviews of qualitative evidence. Qualitative data were extracted, meta-summarized and then meta-synthesized.
RESULTS
Eighteen studies were identified for inclusion in this review and three themes were identified: The theory and practice gap, contemporary health-seeking preferences and the psychosocial impacts of living with asthma.
CONCLUSION
The needs of youths with asthma are specific and must be measurable against the change in asthma outcomes for this group. They have unmet self-management educational needs that stakeholders, involved in their care and support, should address. Education and practice policy should focus on youth-centric approaches. Through meaningful engagement with youths, stakeholders can identify their support needs, requirements and preferences to successfully underpin the theory and practice of self-management education.
IMPACT
This review synthesized evidence of youths with asthma and their experiences of self-management education, highlighting their specific self-management information needs. The findings highlight several implications for healthcare professionals in education, practice and research. This age profile is under-explored and further research into this population would work towards filling the theory and practice gap and highlighting the identified psychosocial issues faced by this group.

Systemic sclerosis is a rare and incurable autoimmune disease in which patients are challenged with self-managing their disease. Systematic evaluation of the essential self-management intervention components and self-management outcomes is necessary to assess the state of the science of self-management for patients with systemic sclerosis. As such, the purpose of this systematic review was to identify and describe self-management interventions and their impact on self-management outcomes in adults with systemic sclerosis. Studies were included if they contained a self-management intervention, incorporated at least one self-management outcome identified as a common data element by the National Institute of Nursing Research (i.e., patient activation, self-efficacy, self-regulation, global health), and were conducted in adults with systemic sclerosis. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis guidelines, PubMed, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, and Embase were searched from the inception of each database to March 2020, yielding a total of 215 studies. Of these reports, 16 met the inclusion criteria for this review. There was notable variability in the types of self-management interventions and their effects on key self-management outcomes. Self-management interventions focused on improving physical function through rehabilitation programs were the most common interventions (n = 7). The poor methodological quality of the studies included in this systematic review, however, limited the synthesis of and recommendations for self-management interventions in adults with systemic sclerosis. Future research in systemic sclerosis should include key self-management outcomes in larger, more rigorously designed studies to allow for comparisons across studies and to advance the science of self-management.
