There is an increasing interest in revisiting plants for drug discovery, proving scientifically their role as remedies. The aim of this review was to give an overview of the ethnopharmacological uses of L. (PlL) leaves and fruits, expanding the search for the scientific discovery of their chemistry, anti-inflammatory, antioxidative and antimicrobial activities. PlL is a wild-growing shrub rich in terpenoids and polyphenols, the oil and extracts of which have been widely used against inflammation and infections, and as wound healing agents. The more recurrent components in PlL essential oil (EO) are represented by α-pinene, terpinene, caryophyllene, limonene and myrcene, with high variability in concentration depending on the Mediterranean country. The anti-inflammatory activity of the oil mainly occurs due to the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the arachidonic acid cascade. Interestingly, the capacity against COX-2 and LOX indicates PlL EO as a dual inhibitory compound. The high content of polyphenols enriching the extracts provide explanations for the known biological properties of the plant. The protective effect against reactive oxygen species is of wide interest. In particular, their anthocyanins content greatly clarifies their antioxidative capacity. Further, the antimicrobial activity of PlL oil and extracts includes the inhibition of , , periodontal bacteria and spp. In conclusion, the relevant scientific properties indicate PlL as a nutraceutical and also as a therapeutic agent against a wide range of diseases based on inflammation and infections.

L. (PlL) has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. The richness in antimicrobial biomolecules of Pll derivates can represent an alternative to chemically formulated agents used against oral infections. This review summarizes the knowledge on the antimicrobial activity of PlL essential oil (EO), extracts, and mastic resin against microorganisms being of relevance in oral biofilm-associated diseases. Results demonstrated that the potential of PlL polyphenol extracts has led to increasing scientific interest. In fact, the extracts are a significantly more effective agent than the other PlL derivates. The positive findings regarding the inhibition of periodontal pathogens and , together with the antioxidant activity and the reduction of the inflammatory responses, suggest the use of the extracts in the prevention and/or reversal of intraoral dysbiosis. Toothpaste, mouthwashes, and local delivery devices could be effective in the clinical management of these oral diseases.

We report here a small library of a new type of acyclic squaramide receptors (-) as selective ionophores for the detection of ketoprofen and naproxen anions (KF and NS, respectively) in aqueous media. H NMR binding studies show a high affinity of these squaramide receptors toward KF and NS, suggesting the formation of H-bonds between the two guests and the receptors through indole and -NH groups. Compounds - have been tested as ionophores for the detection of KF and NS inside solvent PVC-based polymeric membranes. The optimal membrane compositions were established through the careful variation of the ligand/tridodecylmethylammonium chloride (TDMACl) anion-exchanger ratio. All of the tested acyclic squaramide receptors - have high affinity toward KF and NS and anti-Hofmeister selectivity, with and showing the highest sensitivity and selectivity to NS. The utility of the developed sensors for a high precision detection of KF in pharmaceutical compositions with low relative errors of analysis (RSD, 0.99-1.4%) and recoveries, %, in the range 95.1-111.8% has been demonstrated. Additionally, the chemometric approach has been involved to effectively discriminate between the structurally very similar KF and NS, and the possibility of detecting these analytes at concentrations as low as 0.07 μM with of 0.947 and at 0.15 μM with of 0.919 for NS and KF, respectively, was shown.

Background Cysts are common skin abnormalities that are mostly benign; however, sometimes malignant lesions may present clinically as cystic manifestations. Benign cutaneous cysts can be of different morphological types and their diagnosis relies on histological evaluations. The most common mode of treatment is surgical excision, which is curative. Methodology This is a retrospective cross-sectional study conducted at the Department of Histopathology, Chughtai Institute of Pathology, Lahore, Pakistan from 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2022. Non-probability consecutive sampling was done, and all the cases of benign cutaneous cysts were included. All cases were microscopically reviewed by two histopathologists, and variables like age, gender, site of the lesion, and histological diagnosis were noted. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 29 (Released 2022; IBM Corp., Armonk, New York, United States). Results A total of 1160 recorded cases of benign cutaneous cysts were included. Overall gender distribution revealed males (n=489, 42.1%) and females (n=671, 57.8%). The age range was 3 to 91 years with a mean age of 37.56 ± 16.05 years. The three most common cysts were epidermal inclusion cysts (74.3%), trichilemmal cysts (15.1%), and dermoid cysts (6.3%). Other cysts were uncommon including hidrocystoma (1.9%), steatocystoma (0.3%), verrucous cysts (0.3%), comedones (0.6%), hybrid cysts (0.2%), milia (0.3%), and vellus hair cysts (0.2%). The most common site was back (23.5%) for epidermal inclusion cysts, scalp (74.4%) for trichilemmal cysts, and eye (33.8%) for dermoid cysts. Conclusion Benign cutaneous cysts have a broad morphological spectrum with a wide age range. Epidermal inclusion cysts, trichilemmal cysts, dermoid cysts, and hidrocystoma account for the four most common types. For each of the other cyst type, the prevalence was under 1%. Female gender predominated in epidermal inclusion cysts, trichilemmal cysts, and dermoid cysts while male gender was common in other cysts. Overall majority of the cysts presented in the head and neck area.

However, it is often quite challenging to choose an appropriate journal to submit work for possible publication. Researchers attempt to choose the most appropriate platform to highlight their research work so that their work gets published in good order, read, and referred. Hence, selecting an appropriate journal is the most vital task for them. Although no ranking and scoring system can be 100% perfect and foolproof, yet the scoring systems are required to be fair and objective in scoring the journals on various metrics and parameters.

BACKGROUND
The COVID-19 pandemic restricted movement, closed businesses, and economic activities which disproportionately affected people globally. This pandemic has resurfaced the existing cracks in the societal set-up and has pushed the vulnerable and marginalized communities like migrant workers, people with disabilities, geriatric population, and commercial sex workers (CSWs) to an edge for their existence.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
Due to the paucity of peer-reviewed research publications on CSWs, formative research was conducted to identify the determinants and attributes of the challenges faced by CSWs during COVID-19 situation in India. Media scanning approach was used to collate literature from newspaper and magazine reporting, and peer-reviewed articles were referred from research-based search engines.
RESULTS
In total, 31 articles were included for content analysis and four domains of issues i.e., economic, social, psychological and health related challenged faced by them were identified which are supported with the verbatims of the community members as reported in the data sources considered for this study. It was identified that the CSWs adopted several protective measures and coping strategies to deal with the pandemic situation.
CONCLUSION
This research highlighted that there is a need for further exploration of issues among CSWs by conducting studies among the communities. Furthermore, this paper provides a scope for future implementation research by identifying the key priorities and determinants of the challenges among the personal livelihood of CSWs in the country.

Experimental and theoretical magnetostructural studies on discrete heterometallic cyanide-bridged dinuclear FeMn and tetranuclear FeIII2CuII2 complexes bearing tripodal pyrazolyl borate and tetradentate phenolate-based ligands.
Two new complexes [Fe(Tp)(CN)(-CN)MnCl(HL)]·3DMF (1) and {[Fe(Tp)(CN)(-NC)Cu(HL)](ClO)}·6DMF (2) (HL = 2-((((1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)methyl)(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)amino)methyl)phenol and HL = 2-(((pyridin-2-ylmethyl)(quinolin-2-ylmethyl)-amino)methyl)phenol) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and IR and UV/vis spectroscopy. Structural analysis revealed that 1 is a discrete dinuclear coordination complex and 2 is a discrete tetranuclear coordination complex. In complex 1, each Mn is in a distorted octahedral MNOCl environment where coordination is satisfied by three nitrogen atoms and one oxygen atom of the ligand, and a chloride group and one nitrogen atom from cyanide. In complex 2, each Cu is in a distorted octahedral MNO environment where coordination is satisfied by three nitrogen atoms and one oxygen atom of the ligand, and two nitrogen atoms from two cyanides. Direct current (dc) variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements on polycrystalline samples of 1 and 2 were carried out in the temperature range of 1.8-300 K. Investigation of the magnetic properties reveals the occurrence of weak antiferromagnetic coupling between the low-spin Fe ( = 1/2) ions and high-spin Mn ( = 5/2) ions in 1, while 2 exhibits ferro- and antiferromagnetic coupling between the metal ions in the tetranuclear CuII2FeIII2 unit. DFT calculations show ferromagnetic coupling in both complexes, although this appears to be weak in the case of complex 1. In addition, magnetostructural correlations reveal the magnetic behavior against Mn-N-C and Fe-C-N angles in 1 and Cu-N-C and Fe-C-N angles in 2.

Despite major improvements in the United States trauma system over the past two decades, prehospital trauma triage is a significant challenge. Undertriage is associated with increased mortality, and overtriage results in significant resource overuse. The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma benchmarks for undertriage and overtriage are not being met. Many barriers to appropriate field triage exist, including lack of a formal definition for major trauma, absence of a simple and widely applicable triage mode, and emergency medical service adherence to triage protocols. Modern trauma triage systems should ideally be based on the need for intervention rather than injury severity. Future studies should focus on identifying the ideal definition for major trauma and creating triage models that can be easily deployed. This narrative review article presents challenges and potential solutions for prehospital trauma triage.

Despite rapid growth in the significance of dermoscopy in dermatological oncology, relatively little is yet known about the dermoscopic patterns of eyelid margin tumors. The aim of the study was to analyze the dermoscopic features of eyelid margin tumors. This was a retrospective, single-center, consecutive study which included clinical and dermoscopic analysis of eyelid margin tumors diagnosed at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology at the Medical University of Gdańsk from 1 June 2016 to 31 December 2020. Dermoscopic features significantly more prevalent in malignant non-melanocytic lesions compared to benign ones were alteration in eyelash growth, structureless pink areas, starry milia-like cysts, and perpendicular vessels. In contrast, there were no dermoscopic features that occurred significantly more frequently in malignant melanocytic lesions when compared to benign ones. Basal cell carcinoma, in comparison to hidrocystoma, more commonly presented with ulceration and structureless pink areas. The main features differentiating basal cell carcinoma from dermal nevus were the presence of ulceration, alteration in eyelash growth, structureless pink and structureless white areas, and perpendicular vessels within the tumor with each of these features observed more commonly in basal cell carcinoma. Blue nevus, hemangioma, or pigmented hidrocystoma presenting exclusively with blue structureless areas may be difficult to differentiate based on dermoscopy. The study offers additional dermoscopic clues in the assessment of eyelid margin tumors. Some observations reported previously to be typical of basal cell carcinoma (e.g., linear vessels arranged perpendicularly to the eyelid margin) were documented also within the normal eyelid margin accompanying other cases, and according to our study, cannot be useful as a pathognomonic feature. In contrast, it seems that yellow structures (half-moon sign, starry milia-like cysts) may be important dermoscopic features, though further studies are needed to confirm our observations.
