The health crisis has led several health care systems to make extensive use of digital media and, in particular, telemedicine to ensure the follow-up and continuity of care. When the strict requirements of containment were relaxed, the question arose as to how far it was possible and under what conditions to continue this use of digital media. The underlying question is therefore to know in which conditions it is possible to generalize the use of telehealth. This article presents an experience of care and this question to three experts: a sociologist, a psychoanalyst and a lawyer.

Corneal dystrophies are broadly defined as inherited disorders that affect any layer of the cornea and are usually progressive, bilateral conditions that do not have systemic effects. The 2015 International Classification of Corneal Dystrophies classifies corneal dystrophies into four classes: epithelial and subepithelial dystrophies, epithelial-stromal TGFBI dystrophies, stromal dystrophies and endothelial dystrophies. Whereas some corneal dystrophies may result in few or mild symptoms and morbidity throughout a patient's lifetime, others may progress and eventually result in substantial visual and ocular disturbances that require medical or surgical intervention. Corneal transplantation, either with full-thickness or partial-thickness donor tissue, may be indicated for patients with advanced corneal dystrophies. Although corneal transplantation techniques have improved considerably over the past two decades, these surgeries are still associated with postoperative risks of disease recurrence, graft failure and other complications that may result in blindness. In addition, a global shortage of cadaveric corneal graft tissue critically limits accessibility to corneal transplantation in some parts of the world. Ongoing advances in gene therapy, regenerative therapy and cell augmentation therapy may eventually result in the development of alternative, novel treatments for corneal dystrophies, which may substantially improve the quality of life of patients with these disorders.

PURPOSE OF REVIEW
The purpose of this review is to describe the current state of telemedicine within neuro-oncology. This article will address the development of tele-neuro-oncology over time with a focus on current use and applications of telemedicine within the field. Current modalities and practical considerations for tele-neuro-oncology visits and opportunities for growth will be highlighted.
RECENT FINDINGS
The use of telemedicine has expanded significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly within neuro-oncology. The use of telemedicine is widely accepted by neuro-oncologic patients and providers and continues to expand in utilization and scope. The use of tele-neuro-oncology is expected to develop further with opportunities for multidisciplinary and integrated care, clinical trials, research, and education. Telemedicine provides a unique, patient-centered approach to neuro-oncologic care. Telehealth will remain a valuable tool, and its use and role are expected to expand within neuro-oncology.

Telemedicine involves the use of technology to provide services to patients and share medical information. Telemedicine's use has increased as technology has advanced. It allows for medicine to be practiced from a distance to reach patients in rural or underserved areas. Telemedicine has widespread uses in high-risk obstetrics, including management of diabetes, diagnosis and management of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, screening for fetal malformations with teleultrasound, delivering care to underserved areas, and more. The use of telemedicine to provide care to patients and information to health care providers at a distance has been well accepted by the patients and providers.

Telemedicine is about more than simply using audio-visual technology to care for patients, but rather an opportunity to fundamentally improve patient access, quality, efficiencies, and experience. Regarding sleep medicine, it has the potential to drive sleep medicine's evolution. By enabling care across geographies and facilitating population-based management, sleep medicine is poised to take advantage of telemedicine capabilities. In this introductory chapter, we highlight issues related to sleep telemedicine, while providing a framework in which to approach this transformational journey thoughtfully. We thereby set the stage for the individual chapters in this edition of Sleep Medicine Clinics.

Coverage and reimbursement rules vary by regulator, and Missouri enjoys a broad statutory definition of telehealth coverage and reimbursement parity (no distinction between in-person and telehealth services).

BACKGROUND
Electronic sensors measuring biological and behavioral aspects of health and the environment are becoming ubiquitous and, with advances in data science and ehealth technology, provide opportunities for new inquiry and innovative approaches to nursing research.
PURPOSE
To conceptualize the use of sensor technology from the perspective of nursing science.
METHODS
This review reports the keynote presentation from the Expanding Science of Sensor Technology in Nursing Research Conference presented by the Council for Advancement of Nursing Science in 2019 FINDINGS: Electronic sensors enable collection, recording, and transmission of data in real time in real life settings, remote monitoring, self-monitoring, and communication between health care professionals and patients. A deliberative approach to selecting and applying electronic sensors and analyzing and interpreting the data is needed for successful research.
DISCUSSION
Electronic sensors have high potential to advance nursing science.
