Eccrine syringofibroadenoma (ESFA) is a tumor of eccrine ductal differentiation. ESFA is a rare disease, with only approximately 80 cases reported worldwide. ESFA can be classified into five subtypes. Senile gluteal dermatosis (SGD) was first reported in Japan in 1979. It is a relatively common geriatric dermatosis in East Asia, and characterized by hyperkeratotic lichenified skin lesions in the gluteal region. An 86-year-old woman presented with a solitary recurrent dark brown plaque in the sacral area. There was a hyperkeratotic lichenified brownish patch around the plaque, which was clinically considered SGD. Histopathological examination of biopsy specimen revealed thin anastomosing reticulated strands of basaloid cuboidal cells. The tumor extends from the basal layer of the epidermis to the dermis. These findings are consistent with those of ESFA. The patient was treated with total excision of the skin lesion. Reactive ESFA is related to tissue regeneration and remodeling after damage, such as trauma and burns. There is no literature reporting ESFA related to SGD so far, but there have been few reports of cases occurring in soles or buttocks, which are constantly under pressure. This is the first report on reactive ESFA related to SGD, and further research is needed to reveal the pathogenic mechanism.

BACKGROUND
Eccrine porocarcinoma (EPC) is a rare malignant cutaneous adnexal tumor. Other than several scattered case reports, no comprehensive review on EPC has been conducted in Korea.
OBJECTIVE
To clinicopathologically review all EPC cases from our institutions as well as those reported in Korea.
METHODS
Medical records and histopathological slides of EPC cases in the skin biopsy registries of our institutions were retrospectively reviewed. Additionally, EPC cases reported in Korea before June 2019 were retrieved by searching the PubMed, KoMCI, KoreaMed, and KMbase databases.
RESULTS
Nine EPC cases from our institutions were included in the study. In addition, 27 reports of 28 patients with EPC were reported in Korea. A total of 37 patients with EPC were identified, consisting of 19 males (male:female ratio, 1.06:1; mean age at diagnosis, 65.6 years). The most common site of primary tumor was the head and neck (29.7%). Wide excision was the most common (78.4%) treatment method. Initial metastasis work-up imaging studies were performed in 18 patients (48.6%), and metastasis was confirmed in eight patients (21.6%).
CONCLUSION
EPC is a rare cutaneous carcinoma in Korea. EPC usually affects elderly patients, with no sexual predilection. Due to possible metastasis, careful diagnosis and appropriate metastasis work-ups are warranted in EPC.

The Borst-Jadassohn phenomenon is a morphological finding that consists of the presence of well-defined nests of cells located in the spiny stratum of an acanthotic epidermis. One of the neoplasms where this phenomenon is found is hidroacanthoma simplex. This neoplasm is considered the intraepidermal form of the eccrine poroma. Despite its benign nature, malignant transformations are reported. The present article reports a case of hidroacanthoma simplex and discusses the dermoscopy of this phenomenon.

INTRODUCTION
Pigmented eccrine poroma (PEP) is a unique variant of a benign adnexal tumor known as eccrine poroma. Distinguishing PEPs from other pigmented lesions can be challenging due to overlapping clinical and dermoscopic features.
OBJECTIVES
To provide a comprehensive analysis of the dermoscopic, confocal (RCM), and histological features of PEPs.
METHODS
We undertook a retrospective study of the clinical, dermoscopic, RCM and histopathological features of PEPs that were surgically excised and histopathologically recognized. Data on epidemiological, clinical, dermoscopic, RCM and histopathological features were collected from the databases of the Skin Cancer Unit, IRCCS Policlinico di Sant' Orsola, between January 2021 and May 2023.
RESULTS
The study population consisted of 61 patients, including 34 females (55.7%) and 27 males (44.3%). Dermoscopic examination of 61 PEPs revealed the presence of irregular borders (55.7%), milia-like cysts (50.8%), brown pseudo-network (41%), cerebriform pattern (34.4%), comedo-like openings (29.5%), atypical vessels (26.2%), glomerular vessels (18%), fingerprint-like perifollicular structures (8.2%), dots (4.9%) and dotted vessels (4.9%). RCM imaging was collected from 11 cases and showed mostly well-defined tumor nests with small cells in 100% of cases, bright structures in the upper dermis representing melanocytes and melanophages (63.6%), dark round spaces within the tumor nests (54.5%), well-demarcated borders of the nest (45.5%) and dilated and prominent vessels in upper dermis (27.3%). Histopathological pattern analysis revealed PEP sensu stricto (PEPss) as the most frequent (54.1%).
CONCLUSIONS
The distinctive dermoscopic patterns, along with the confocal features aid in the differentiation from other pigmented lesions.
