PURPOSE
This tutorial introduces speech-language pathologists (SLPs) to strategies that promote and support self-advocacy among autistic college students. The discussion for this tutorial is grounded within the framework of the social model of disability and the need for addressing environmental barriers to communication and self-advocacy.
METHOD
We provide a self-advocacy framework to guide SLPs in developing programs for autistic adults. We describe factors that impact self-advocacy in autistic college students and the role of university-based SLPs and speech-language pathology graduate students in program implementation. Scenarios and examples are included to aid SLPs in implementing the recommendations.
CONCLUSIONS
Self-advocacy is a predictor of retention, adaptation, and graduation of autistic postsecondary students. Prior research on autistic self-advocacy is minimal, and guidance for SLPs on promoting and supporting self-advocacy of their autistic clients is limited. SLPs play a very important role as they can increase understanding and appreciation for autistic social communication differences among nonautistic peers and professors and address autistic stigma through meaningful engagement of autistic individuals in planning and program development.

Review
The pathological diagnostics of cancer - based on the histological features - is today increasingly completed by molecular profiling at variable depth in an almost evident fashion. Predictive information should cover potential therapeutic targets and/or major resistance mechanisms the nature of which is subject of alteration during the course of the treatment. Mutational profiling recently became technically available by the analysis of circulating free DNA obtained following non-invasive peripheral blood or body fluid sampling. This "liquid biopsy" approach reflects the general status considering the actual tumor burden, irrespective of the intratumoral distribution and anatomical site. However, the dynamics of the liquid compartment relies on tissue-related processes reflected by histological variables. The amount and composition of free DNA seems to be influenced by many factors, including the stage and anatomical localization of the cancer, the relative mass of neoplastic subclones, the growth rate, the stromal and inflammatory component, the extent of tumor cell death and necrosis. The histopathological context should be considered also when analysis of cfDNA is about to replace repeated tumor sampling for molecular follow-up.

UNLABELLED
One of the neglected areas of clinical medical practice in developing countries is the field of Laboratory Medicine. As a result, the important role of the laboratory physician in diagnosis of disease and subsequent management of patients is not much appreciated. Even more worrying is lack of appreciation of the research potential of laboratory medicine, considering that it provides a repository of confirmatory data on many human disorders; data that have been usefully employed for the study of various diseases in developed parts of the world. It is perhaps, the reason that many diseases peculiar to developing countries still remain untamed. My experience in the practice of anatomical pathology in several countries has taught me that the specialty, as with other specialties of laboratory medicine in Ghana needs more attention, with regards to its development to the level where it can meet its clinical functions satisfactorily. When this is ensured, it would also provide the necessary vital contribution to research that has characterised its practice in more advanced countries. More exposure of the specialty to undergraduate medical students must be encouraged in order to attract trainees into the specialty. Along with this exposure must go an increase in infrastructure and the necessary facilities to permit growth of the specialty. Research potential of the specialty must be harnessed and fully supported financially to help in unravelling peculiar disease problems of our locality. To achieve this, I have re-emphasised the need for a special fund to drive scientific research in Ghana.

Medical care refers to a risky type of activity, since as a result of its provision, harm to the patient's health may be caused and prerequisites for the onset of legal (civil, disciplinary, administrative and criminal) liability may arise. The legal liability of a pathologist in the event of an incorrect diagnosis by the attending physician on the basis of an incorrect conclusion of the pathologist may occur due to violations due to low qualifications, frivolity, negligence, failure to comply with the rules, procedures for providing medical care, job descriptions, official duties. If the incorrect conclusion of the pathologist was of an objective nature (for example, in the case of an incorrect interpretation of a diagnostically difficult case), it should go beyond the scope of punishable shortcomings in the activities of the pathologist. The financial responsibility of a pathologist may occur when its burden is placed on a medical organization for harm caused to the life or health of a patient, due to the establishment, among other things, of the legality of the actions (inaction) of a medical worker with whom the medical organization is in an employment relationship. A medical organization, in case of satisfaction of the patient's claims by the court, as a rule, in a regression procedure, may involve the relevant medical worker who caused the harm in the issue of compensation, compensate for their financial and reputational losses. The most important thing in such cases is to resolve the issue of establishing the grounds for bringing a medical worker to responsibility.

EPIC Systems Corporation provides a widely used electronic medical record. Beaker Anatomic Pathology is a newly developed laboratory information system (LIS) that has been implemented at a small number of academic pathology departments. Pathologist opinions of EPIC Beaker AP have not been well described in the literature. A 37-question survey was administered to pathologists and pathology trainees to assess overall satisfaction and efficiency of report generation using Beaker AP. Data about experience in pathology, signout responsibilities, Beaker AP usage, and the legacy LIS was also collected. Seventy-four pathologists (51 faculty, 23 residents) responded to the survey (overall response rate 29.7%). Overall pathologist satisfaction with Beaker AP showed high inter-institutional variability; institutions with legacy LISs with a graphical interface had a generally neutral to negative assessment of Beaker AP. The majority of respondents disagreed with the statement "Beaker AP is easy to use and designed for my needs". Pathologists felt that Beaker AP was useful for reviewing clinical information and billing; areas of weakness included searching for prior cases and grossing efficiency. Overall, pathologists had a neutral opinion of whether generating and signing out a complete report was faster in Beaker AP, with marked inter-institutional variation. This variability was likely due to a combination of the efficacy of the legacy LIS, familiarity with Beaker AP at the time of the survey, and institution-specific optimization efforts.

The role of forensic pathologist is imperative for investigation of pathophysiological outcome of disease by conducting autopsy or post-mortem examination. Autopsy examination becomes highly significant when the cause of death is unknown or physicochemical parameters of death is of unknown nature due to novel emerging conditions as in case of novel coronavirus pandemic. In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, there is undeniable amount of pressure on the forensic examiner fraternity due to the highly contagious nature of new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). Autopsy involves thorough external examination of the deceased body followed by gross internal, histopathological examination of organs and molecular analysis of body fluids for various tissue specific and blood biomarkers (enzymes, electrolytes, hormones) to ascertain disease progression and cause of death.
