Traumatic or irritation fibroma is the healed end product of the inflammatory hyperplastic lesion, which can occur at any age from almost any softtissue site, tongue, gingiva, and buccal mucosa being the most common. It is usually characterized by a slow, painless growth accumulated over a period of months or years.

Traumatic fibroma is a reactive oral cavity lesion that manifests as a localized, non-neoplastic, inflammatory hyperplastic papule of fibrous connective tissue. Alternatively, mucocele is another frequent oral lesion, caused by mucus pooling in the tissues as a result of trauma to minor salivary glands. This article aims to shed light on traumatic fibroma and mucocele of the lower lip in pediatric patients. Two pediatric patients complained of soft tissue growth on the left side of the lower lip. Appropriate diagnosis, treatment planning, and light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation excision were done for both patients. The excised samples were sent for histopathological analysis. Both patients showed clinical resolution in a short period without any discomfort. A comprehensive understanding of these variances is essential for precise diagnosis and tailored treatment strategies.

This article reports a case of an ovarian collision tumour consisting of an ovarian fibroma and a serous cystadenoma. A 60-year-old woman exhibited symptoms of post-menopausal bleeding and abdominal pain persisting for three months. Computerized tomography identified a solid mass with a cystic component in the right adnexa, and the patient underwent staging laparotomy. Gross examination of the right ovary revealed a cystic tumour with adjacent solid mass. The histopathological analysis identified a cystic mass that matched the characteristics of a serous cystadenoma, with an adjacent solid mass that matched the characteristics of a sex-cord stromal tumour, both located in the right ovary. Additionally, a small cyst that matched the characteristics of a serous cystadenoma was found in the left ovary. There have been only seven previously reported examples of this specific mix of ovarian tumours. Mostly affecting patients above 60 years of age, although tumour markers levels are normal, such cases may present with a complex clinical scenario, as in this case, and demand a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic approach.

Ossifying fibroma (OF) is a slow-growing benign fibro-osseous neoplasm. It is mostly odontogenic in origin, and it arises in the jaws, particularly the mandible. OF is characterized by the production of bone and cementum-like calcifications in a fibrous stroma. OF reports of the bone of the maxilla are uncommon. Diagnosing OF can be challenging due to the considerable overlap of clinico-pathological characteristics with those of other neoplasms. Herein, the authors describe a case report OF in a 26-year-old male who presented with a huge fibro-osseous tumor of the maxilla. Histopathology established the diagnosis of maxillary OF. The tumor was surgically removed via a Weber-erguson approach with satisfactory functional and cosmetic results. No recurrence has been found after one year of follow-up. Clinical, radiological, and pathological characteristics, as well as surgical treatment approaches, are further discussed. This is one of a few documented cases of maxillary OF in our setting.

KEY CLINICAL MESSAGE
Desmoplastic fibroma presents similar to other soft tissue tumors to such an extent that even a gold standard investigation can miss.
ABSTRACT
This is to report a mass in a 47-year-old male arising from the chest wall, which was first thought to be a hemangioma but was later diagnosed as a case of desmoplastic fibroblastoma with the help of a biopsy.

INTRODUCTION
Non-ossifying fibroma (NOF) is a common benign fibrogenic bone lesion commonly found in the metaphysis of long bones. While small NOFs are typically asymptomatic and left untreated, large NOFs are often associated with pathologic fractures that can be treated conservatively or operatively. To our knowledge, the NOF presented in this case report is one of the largest reported in the literature.
CASE REPORT
We present a case of a 12-year-old Hispanic female who presented to our institution after falling off a horse and landing on her right leg and wrist. Radiographs revealed a right distal femur fracture through an unusually large lytic bone lesion. The patient was treated with curettage, grafting, open reduction, and internal fixation, given the unstable and pathological nature of the fracture.
CONCLUSION
This case substantiates the literature that large fractures through a NOF can be appropriately managed operatively. However, orthopedic surgeons should be aware of the risks of surgery, including infection, when considering operative management of patients who present with large unstable pathologic fractures through a NOF.

This case report describes a 67-year-old woman who developed an extensive, slow-growing lesion occupying the whole of the palate in 10 years. Considering clinical and radiographic features, calcifying neoplasms were considered. Correlating microscopic features with clinical features, the lesion was diagnosed as peripheral ossifying fibroma, which seldom presents as an extensive lesion on the palate amongst the elderly age group. This case report will highlight clinicians and pathologists about a rare presentation of a commonly encountered lesion with a comprehensive view of the differential diagnosis of other comparable lesions.

Fibro-osseous lesions (FOLs) of the craniomaxillofacial region comprise a group of developmental, dysplastic, and neoplastic alterations. FOLs include ossifying fibromas (OF), cemento-ossifying fibroma (COF), familial gigantiform cementoma (FGC), fibrous dysplasia (FD), and cemento-osseous dysplasia (COD). Evidence suggests that some FOL, especially FD and OF may have a risk of spontaneous malignant transformation. This report documents a rare case of malignant transformation of ossifying fibromas of the jaw and the probable cause for same. Although it is rare, the clinician should have a complete follow up to observe such changes among the patients having FOLs.

Benign osseous tumors of mesodermal origin that are included within the group of fibro-osseous lesions include cemento-ossifying fibromas (COFs). The fibrocellular component of these diseases originates from the periodontal ligament, which deposits bone and cementum encased in fibrous tissue. It typically appears in the mandible and presents as a solitary, nonaggressive, slowly developing, asymptomatic, expansile lesion, rarely occurring in the maxilla. The only intervention that proved to be successful in producing excellent outcomes and that may be regarded as a final therapeutic option is the complete surgical removal of COFs. Presenting herein is a case report describing a painless and expansile mass in the left mandibular region, histopathologically diagnosed as COF.
