The Euchromatic Histone Methyl Transferase Protein 2 (EHMT2), also known as G9a, deposits transcriptionally repressive chromatin marks that play pivotal roles in the maturation and homeostasis of multiple organs. Recently, we have shown that inactivation in the mouse pancreas alters growth and immune gene expression networks, antagonizing Kras-mediated pancreatic cancer initiation and promotion. Here, we elucidate the essential role of Ehmt2 in maintaining a transcriptional landscape that protects organs from inflammation. Comparative RNA-seq studies between normal postnatal and young adult pancreatic tissue from conditional knockout animals ( ) targeted to the exocrine pancreatic epithelial cells ( and ), reveal alterations in gene expression networks in the whole organ related to injury-inflammation-repair, suggesting an increased predisposition to damage. Thus, we induced an inflammation repair response in the pancreas and used a data science-based approach to integrate RNA-seq-derived pathways and networks, deconvolution digital cytology, and spatial transcriptomics. We also analyzed the tissue response to damage at the morphological, biochemical, and molecular pathology levels. The pancreas displays an enhanced injury-inflammation-repair response, offering insights into fundamental molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in this process. More importantly, these data show that conditional inactivation in exocrine cells reprograms the local environment to recruit mesenchymal and immunological cells needed to mount an increased inflammatory response. Mechanistically, this response is an enhanced injury-inflammation-repair reaction with a small contribution of specific Ehmt2-regulated transcripts. Thus, this new knowledge extends the mechanisms underlying the role of the Ehmt2-mediated pathway in suppressing pancreatic cancer initiation and modulating inflammatory pancreatic diseases.

As the apparent intelligence of artificial neural networks (ANNs) advances, they are increasingly likened to the functional networks and information processing capabilities of the human brain. Such comparisons have typically focused on particular modalities, such as vision or language. The next frontier is to use the latest advances in ANNs to design and investigate scalable models of higher-level cognitive processes, such as conscious information access, which have historically lacked concrete and specific hypotheses for scientific evaluation. In this work, we propose and then empirically assess an embodied agent with a structure based on global workspace theory (GWT) as specified in the recently proposed "indicator properties" of consciousness. In contrast to prior works on GWT which utilized single modalities, our agent is trained to navigate 3D environments based on realistic audiovisual inputs. We find that the global workspace architecture performs better and more robustly at smaller working memory sizes, as compared to a standard recurrent architecture. Beyond performance, we perform a series of analyses on the learned representations of our architecture and share findings that point to task complexity and regularization being essential for feature learning and the development of meaningful attentional patterns within the workspace.

BACKGROUND
Reviewers rarely comment on the same aspects of a manuscript, making it difficult to properly assess manuscripts' quality and the quality of the peer review process. The goal of this pilot study was to evaluate structured peer review implementation by: 1) exploring whether and how reviewers answered structured peer review questions, 2) analysing reviewer agreement, 3) comparing that agreement to agreement before implementation of structured peer review, and 4) further enhancing the piloted set of structured peer review questions.
METHODS
Structured peer review consisting of nine questions was piloted in August 2022 in 220 Elsevier journals. We randomly selected 10% of these journals across all fields and IF quartiles and included manuscripts that received two review reports in the first 2 months of the pilot, leaving us with 107 manuscripts belonging to 23 journals. Eight questions had open-ended fields, while the ninth question (on language editing) had only a yes/no option. The reviews could also leave and . Answers were independently analysed by two raters, using qualitative methods.
RESULTS
Almost all the reviewers ( = 196, 92%) provided answers to all questions even though these questions were not mandatory in the system. The longest answer (Md 27 words, IQR 11 to 68) was for reporting methods with sufficient details for replicability or reproducibility. The reviewers had the highest (partial) agreement (of 72%) for assessing the flow and structure of the manuscript, and the lowest (of 53%) for assessing whether interpretation of the results was supported by data, and for assessing whether the statistical analyses were appropriate and reported in sufficient detail (52%). Two thirds of the reviewers ( = 145, 68%) filled out the section, of which 105 (49%) resembled traditional peer review reports. These reports contained a Md of 4 (IQR 3 to 5) topics covered by the structured questions. Absolute agreement regarding final recommendations (exact match of recommendation choice) was 41%, which was higher than what those journals had in the period from 2019 to 2021 (31% agreement, = 0.0275).
CONCLUSIONS
Our preliminary results indicate that reviewers successfully adapted to the new review format, and that they covered more topics than in their traditional reports. Individual question analysis indicated the greatest disagreement regarding the interpretation of the results and the conducting and the reporting of statistical analyses. While structured peer review did lead to improvement in reviewer final recommendation agreements, this was not a randomized trial, and further studies should be performed to corroborate this. Further research is also needed to determine whether structured peer review leads to greater knowledge transfer or better improvement of manuscripts.

Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile ducts is a rare tumor. Characteristic features include bile duct dilatation, cystic lesions with communication to the bile ducts, and intraluminal solid nodules arising from the bile duct wall. As in pancreatic intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasia, intestinal, pancreaticobiliary, gastric, and oncocytic types are described. Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile ducts has a high potential for malignancy, and patients should be surgically resected when possible. In this review, the complex imaging diagnosis is presented. The main focus is on contrast-enhanced ultrasound, an established method for many other indications whose potential on the biliary system should be better exploited. In the present article, typical contrast-enhanced ultrasound findings in intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile ducts are demonstrated.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES
Management of hepatic abscesses has traditionally been performed by image-guided percutaneous techniques. More recently, EUS drainage has been shown to be efficacious and safe. The aim of this study is to compare EUS-guided percutaneous catheter drainage (PCD) of hepatic abscesses.
METHODS
Patients who underwent EUS-guided drainage or PCD of hepatic abscesses from January 2018 through November 2021 from 4 international academic centers were included in a dedicated registry. Demographics, clinical data preprocedure and postprocedure, abscess characteristics, procedural data, adverse events, and postprocedure care were collected.
RESULTS
Seventy-four patients were included (mean age, 63.9 years; 45% male): EUS-guided ( = 30), PCD ( = 44). Preprocedure Charlson Comorbidity Index scores were 4.3 for the EUS group and 4.3 for the PCD group. The median abscess size was 8.45 × 6 cm (length × width) in the EUS group 7.3 × 5.5 cm in the PCD group. All of the abscesses in the EUS group were left-sided, whereas the PCD group contained both left- and right-sided abscesses (29 and 15, respectively). Technical success was 100% in both groups. Ten-millimeter-diameter stents were used in most cases in the EUS group, and 10F catheters were used in the PCD group. The duration to resolution of symptoms from the initial procedure was 10.9 days less in the EUS group compared with the PCD group ( < 0.00001). Hospital length of stay was shorter in the EUS group by 5.2 days ( = 0.000126). The EUS group had significantly fewer number of repeat sessions: mean of 2 7.7 ( < 0.00001) and trended toward fewer number of procedure-related readmissions: 10% 34%. The PCD group had a significantly higher number of adverse events ( = 27 [61%]) when compared with the EUS group ( = 5 [17%]; = 0.0001).
CONCLUSIONS
EUS-guided drainage is an efficacious and safe intervention for the management of hepatic abscesses. EUS-guided drainage allows for quicker resolution of symptoms, shorter length of hospital stay, fewer adverse events, and fewer procedural sessions needed when compared with the PCD technique. However, EUS-guided drainage may not be feasible in right-sided lesions.

OBJECTIVE
The aim of this literature review is to yield a comprehensive and exhaustive overview of the existing evidence and up-to-date applications of artificial intelligence for knee osteoarthritis.
METHODS
A literature review was performed by using PubMed, Google Scholar, and IEEE databases for articles published in peer-reviewed journals in 2022. The articles focusing on the use of artificial intelligence in diagnosis and prognosis of knee osteoarthritis and accelerating the image acquisition were selected. For each selected study, the code availability, considered number of patients and knees, imaging type, covariates, grading type of osteoarthritis, models, validation approaches, objectives, and results were reviewed.
RESULTS
395 articles were screened, and 35 of them were reviewed. Eight articles were based on diagnosis, six on prognosis prediction, three on classification, three on accelerated image acquisition, and 15 on segmentation of knee osteoarthritis. 57% of the articles used MRI, 26% radiography, 6% MRI together with radiography, 6% ultrasonography, and 6% only clinical data. 23% of the articles made the computer codes available for their study, and 26% used clinical data. External validation and nested cross-validation were used in 17% and 14% of articles, respectively.
CONCLUSIONS
The use of artificial intelligence provided a promising potential to enhance the detection and management of knee osteoarthritis. Translating the developed models into clinics is still in the early stages of development. The translation of artificial intelligence models is expected to be further examined in prospective studies to support clinicians in improving routine healthcare practice.

Healthy dietary practices are highly influenced by social norms, the widely-held expectations about the behaviors that are appropriate or typical within a given group. However, many nutrition programs designed to reduce women's undernutrition in low- and middle-income countries do not address the influence of social and gender norms in their interventions, and therefore, there is limited information about how norms-responsive interventions have been designed and implemented. The objective of this scoping review was to identify and describe social and behavioral change interventions designed to improve women's dietary practices and nutritional intake that integrate the influence of social and gender norms. We systematically searched 4 databases (Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and CINAHL) for peer-reviewed articles describing design, implementation, and/or assessment of nutrition interventions in low- or middle-income countries. Results are reported following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines. Our review identified 27 articles from 25 projects or research studies that addressed social or gender norms related to women's dietary practices. The majority focused on the pregnancy and lactation periods, and a few aimed to reach all women of reproductive age. Interventions most often endeavored to shift norms through multiple activities, channels, and platforms, aiming to reach not only the primary participants but also influencers and reference groups. Intervention approaches ranged from home visits and support groups to engage influential family members to community-level outreach with opinion leaders such as religious leaders, health care workers, and peer change agents. Most interventions were delivered through the health sector or were community-based, with some nutrition-sensitive agriculture interventions. There is increasing, although still limited, integration of social and gender norms perspectives in the design, implementation, and assessment of interventions to improve women's diets. This comprehensive review summarizes influential norms and intervention approaches, an important step toward enhancing the effectiveness of social and behavioral change interventions by addressing nutrition-relevant norms. AIM
We aimed to explore the relationship between and psychotic disorders in a preliminary study.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
immunoglobulin M (IgM) and immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies were measured in a sample of patients with psychotic disorders, first-degree relatives (FDR), and healthy volunteers (HV) and compared. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics in the forms of frequency and percentage using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).
RESULTS
Sample size was 10. Men and women were equal. All were from rural background. One patient with psychotic disorder out of the four had anti- IgG antibodies in comparison to none among the three each of the FDR and HV. The patient with positive IgG antibody status had the diagnosis of acute and transient psychotic disorder (ATPD).
CONCLUSION
This pioneering pilot project from this part of the globe highlights a pertinent area for further work in the future in order to have a newer understanding in proper management of psychotic disorder.
