This species is nonmotile, non-spore forming, nonpigmented, xylose, arabinose, cellobiose, salicin, sucrose, lactose, indole, esculin hydrolysis, alpha-fucosidase, beta-xylosidase, beta-glucosidase, and glycine aminopeptidase positive.
