A species of facultatively anaerobic, gram negative, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is motile by peritrichous flagella, dimethyl reductase and arginine dehydrolase positive, indole variable and does not produce acid from salicin or sucrose.
