(enterobacter amnigenus) A species of facultatively anaerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacterium in the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is motile by peritrichous flagella, ferments lactose, indole negative, lysine decarboxylase negative and does not produce acid from sorbitol.
