A species of anaerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Firmicutes. This bacteria is non-motile, non-spore forming, filamentous, weakly hemolytic, indole positive, negative for oxidase and catalase, hydrolyzes esculin and gelatin, and does not reduce nitrate.
