A species of facultatively anaerobic, Gram-negative, rod shaped bacteria in the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is nonmotile, non-spore forming, not acid fast, catalase, oxidase, phosphatase, and ornithine decarboxylase positive, urease negative, reduces nitrate, and does not hydrolyze esculin or grow on MacConkey's agar.
