BACKGROUND
Stroke is a cerebrovascular disease with high prevalence and mortality, and upper limb hemiparesis is a major factor limiting functional recovery in stroke patients. Improvement of motor function in stroke patients through various forms of constraint-induced movement therapy (CITM) has been recognized as safe and effective in recent years. This research field lacks a comprehensive systematic and clear vein combing analysis, analyzing the literature research of CIMT in the field of rehabilitation in the past three decades, summarizing the research hotspots and cutting-edge trends in this field, in an effort to offer ideas and references for subsequent researchers.
METHODS
Relevant literature on CIMT in rehabilitation was collected from 1996 to 2024 within the Web of Science database's core dataset by using CiteSpace6.1, VOSviewer1.6.18, R-bibliometrix4.6.1, Pajek5.16, Scimago Graphica 1.0.26 software for visualization and analysis.
RESULTS
There were 970 papers in all United States was ranked first with 401 papers. Alabama Univ was ranked first for institutions with 53 papers. Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair was ranked first for journals with 78 papers, and Taub E was ranked first for author publications with 64 papers. Research keywords were CIMT, stroke rehabilitation, upper extremity function, lower extremity gait balance, randomized controlled trials, physical therapy techniques (transcranial magnetic stimulation and sensory amplitude electrical stimulation), primary motor cortex plasticity, lateral dominance (spatial behaviors), cerebral vascular accidents, activities of daily living, hand function, disability, functional restoration, bimanual training, aphasia, acquired invalidity, type A Botulinum toxin and joystick riding toys.
CONCLUSION
The current state of research shows that CIMT still has a vast potential for development in the field of rehabilitation research. The research hotspots are the clinical efficacy of CIMT combined with other therapies (botulinum toxin type A, transcranial direct current stimulation, virtual reality, mirror therapy, robotic-assisted) to enhance the functionality of upper limb hemiparesis in stroke patients, the mechanism of CIMT to improve the plasticity of the motor cortex through electrophysiological and imaging methods, and improvement of lower limb gait balance function in stroke patients and aphasia applications, the optimal intervention time and dose, and exploration of CIMT in new settings such as robot-assisted, telemedicine, and home rehabilitation.

Review
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus became the dominant lineage in Spain in 2022. Although it possesses a milder pathogenicity than previous variants, it still poses a high risk of causing severe COVID-19 for immunocompromised populations. A systematic review was conducted to assess the burden of COVID-19 in Spain among immunocompromised patients during the omicron predominance (1/04/2022-1/04/2023), using PubMed, Cochrane Library, and EPICOVIDEHA between May and July 2023. The search retrieved 217 articles, of which a total of 5 were included. Upon analysis, it was observed that immunocompromised patients during the omicron lineage predominance continue to exhibit higher rates of hospitalizations, ICU admissions, and mortality compared to the general population affected by COVID-19. Although the pandemic has ended, the risk persists for immunocompromised individuals.

HDR syndrome is a rare disease characterized by hypoparathyroidism, deafness, and renal dysplasia. An autosomal dominant disease caused by heterozygous pathogenic GATA3 variants, the penetrance of each associated condition is variable. Literature reviews have provided some answers, but many questions remain, in particular what the relationship is between genotype and phenotype. The current study examines 28 patients with HDR syndrome combined with an exhaustive review of the literature. Some conditions such as hearing loss are almost always present, while others described as rare initially, do not seem to be so rare after all (genital malformations and basal ganglia calcifications). By modeling pathogenic GATA3 variants found in HDR syndrome, we found that missense variations appear to always be located in the same area (close to the two Zinc Finger domain). We describe new pathogenic GATA3 variants, of which some seem to always be associated with certain conditions. Many audiograms were studied to establish a typical audiometric profile associated with a phenotype in HDR. As mentioned in the literature, hearing function should always be assessed as early as possible and follow up of patients with HDR syndrome should include monitoring of parathyroid function and vesicoureteral reflux in order to prevent complications.

This study aimed to review the application of natural language processing (NLP) in thyroid-related conditions and to summarize current challenges and potential future directions. We performed a systematic search of databases for studies describing NLP applications in thyroid conditions published in English between January 1, 2012 and November 4, 2022. In addition, we used a snowballing technique to identify studies missed in the initial search or published after our search timeline until April 1, 2023. For included studies, we extracted the NLP method (eg, rule-based, machine learning, deep learning, or hybrid), NLP application (eg, identification, classification, and automation), thyroid condition (eg, thyroid cancer, thyroid nodule, and functional or autoimmune disease), data source (eg, electronic health records, health forums, medical literature databases, or genomic databases), performance metrics, and stages of development. We identified 24 eligible NLP studies focusing on thyroid-related conditions. Deep learning-based methods were the most common (38%), followed by rule-based (21%), and traditional machine learning (21%) methods. Thyroid nodules (54%) and thyroid cancer (29%) were the primary conditions under investigation. Electronic health records were the dominant data source (17/24, 71%), with imaging reports being the most frequently used (15/17, 88%). There is increasing interest in NLP applications for thyroid-related studies, mostly addressing thyroid nodules and using deep learning-based methodologies with limited external validation. However, none of the reviewed NLP applications have reached clinical practice. Several limitations, including inconsistent clinical documentation and model portability, need to be addressed to promote the evaluation and implementation of NLP applications to support patient care in thyroidology.

Review
Bacterial endocarditis (BE) is a severe infection of the endocardium and cardiac valves caused by bacterial agents in dogs. Diagnosis of endocarditis is challenging due to the variety of clinical presentations and lack of definitive diagnostic tests in its early stages. This study aims to provide a research literature analysis on BE in dogs based on text mining (TM) and topic analysis (TA) identifying dominant topics, summarizing their temporal trend, and highlighting any possible research gaps. A literature search was performed utilizing the Scopus database, employing keywords pertaining to BE to analyze papers published in English from 1990 to 2023. The investigation followed a systematic approach based on the PRISMA guidelines. A total of 86 records were selected for analysis following screening procedures and underwent descriptive statistics, TM, and TA. The findings revealed that the number of records published per year has increased in 2007 and 2021. TM identified the words with the highest term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF), and TA highlighted the main research areas, in the following order: causative agents, clinical findings and predisposing factors, case reports on endocarditis, outcomes and biomarkers, and infective endocarditis and bacterial isolation. The study confirms the increasing interest in BE but shows where further studies are needed.

Review
: Huntington's disease (HD) is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder causing progressive neurodegeneration which, aside from symptomatic therapies for controlling psychological and motor problems, currently has no effective treatment. People who receive this diagnosis often feel disoriented and lost without guidance. Furthermore, HD patients are estimated to have a two to seven times greater risk of suicide death compared to the general population. The current review investigates the complex relationship between HD and suicide, seeking to identify key risk factors influencing suicidal ideation and behaviour in affected individuals. : We conducted a systematic review following the PRISMA guidelines. Studies were searched for on the PubMed, Cochrane, and Web of Science databases, and 17 articles met the inclusion criteria. : The findings reveal that emotional strain, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and the absence of a cure contribute to heightened suicidal tendencies in HD patients. Critical periods for suicide risk coincide with early symptomatic stages of disease or the successive phase, with the loss of independence impacting on daily functioning. Risk factors associated with HD include a depressive mood, cognitive impairments, and a history of suicide attempts. : From a prevention perspective, a comprehensive multidisciplinary and multidimensional approach could enhance the overall well-being of people with HD. In particular, screening for suicidal thoughts in people with HD could mitigate suicide risk.

Review
This systematic review investigated the practices that support and hinder the recovery and healing of communities and the environments within which they live, following climate-related environmental disasters. Although the literature focused on recovery is dominated by interventions aimed at the individual and their mental health, a thematic analysis of thirty-six studies established a range of practices that enhance collective recovery and healing. Four narratives were identified from the findings highlighting key practices: (1) collective and community-led recovery; (2) recognising the criticality of context, place, and identity; (3) adopting a holistic conception of well-being and Country-centred practices; and (4) decolonising and Indigenising the literature. This study details recommendations for research and practice. First Nations' knowledges and healing practices need to be recognised and harnessed in climate-related environmental disaster recovery. Community-led interventions harness local knowledge, networks, and expertise, which improves the dissemination of resources and enables recovery efforts to be tailored to the specific needs of communities.

INTRODUCTION
In the big data era, where corporations commodify health data, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) present a transformative avenue for patient empowerment and control. NFTs are unique digital assets on the blockchain, representing ownership of digital objects, including health data. By minting their data as NFTs, patients can track access, monetize its use, and build secure, private health information systems. However, research on NFTs in healthcare is in its infancy, warranting a comprehensive review.
METHODS
This study conducted a systematic literature review and thematic analysis of NFTs in healthcare to identify use cases, design models, and key challenges. Five multidisciplinary research databases (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, IEEE Explore, Elsevier Science Direct) were searched. The approach involved four stages: paper collection, inclusion/exclusion criteria application, screening, full-text reading, and quality assessment. A classification and coding framework was employed. Thematic analysis followed six steps: data familiarization, initial code generation, theme searching, theme review, theme definition/naming, and report production.
RESULTS
Analysis of 19 selected papers revealed three primary use cases: patient-centric data management, supply chain management for data provenance, and digital twin development. Notably, most solutions were prototypes or frameworks without real-world implementations. Four overarching themes emerged: data governance (ownership, tracking, privacy), data monetization (commercialization, incentivization, sharing), data protection, and data storage. The focus lies on user-controlled, private, and secure health data solutions. Additionally, data commodification is explored, with mechanisms proposed to incentivize data maintenance and sharing. NFTs are also suggested for tracking medical products in supply chains, ensuring data integrity and provenance. Ethereum and similar platforms dominate NFT minting, while compact NFT storage options are being explored for faster data access.
CONCLUSION
NFTs offer significant potential for secure, traceable, decentralized healthcare data exchange systems. However, challenges exist, including dependence on blockchain, interoperability issues, and associated costs. The review identified research gaps, such as developing dual ownership models and data pricing strategies. Building an open standard for interoperability and adoption is crucial. The scalability, security, and privacy of NFT-backed healthcare applications require further investigation. Thus, this study proposes a research agenda for adopting NFTs in healthcare, focusing on governance, storage models, and perceptions.

Review
BACKGROUND
Growing evidence has shown that mitochondrial dysfunction is part of the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease (PD). However, the role of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) variants on PD onset is unclear.
OBJECTIVES
The present study aims to evaluate the effect of mtDNA variants and haplogroups on risk of developing PD.
METHODS
Systematic review and meta-analysis of studies investigating associations between PD and mtDNA variants and haplogroups.
RESULTS
A total of 33 studies were eligible from 957 screened studies. Among 13,640 people with PD and 22,588 control individuals, the association with PD was consistently explored in 13 mtDNA variants in 10 genes and 19 macrohaplogroups. Four mtDNA variants were associated with PD: m.4336C (odds ratio [OR] = 2.99; 95 % confidence interval [CI] = 1.79-5.02), m.7028T (OR = 0.80; 95 % CI = 0.70-0.91), m.10398G (OR = 0.92; 95 % CI = 0.85-0.98), and m.13368A (OR = 0.74; 95 % CI = 0.56-0.98). Four mtDNA macrohaplogroups were associated with PD: R (OR = 2.25; 95 % CI = 1.92-2.65), F (OR = 1.18; 95 % CI = 1.01-1.38), H (OR = 1.12; 95 % CI = 1.06-1.18), and B (OR = 0.77; 95 % CI = 0.65-0.92).
CONCLUSIONS
Despite most studies may be underpowered by the underrepresentation of people without dominant European- and Asian-ancestry, low use of next-generation sequencing for genotyping and small sample sizes, the identification of mtDNA variants and macrohaplogroups associated with PD strengthens the link between the disease and mitochondrial dysfunction and mtDNA genomic instability.

Although the investigation of mental health and wellbeing in education has shown an exponential increase on an international scale, attention has primarily been paid to students, leaving the concept of teacher wellbeing comparatively overlooked. Extant literature offers numerous divergent descriptions, with some academics even avoiding an explicit definition of the term. Thus, there are limitations and inconsistencies in understanding teacher wellbeing as a unique construct. The aim of the current study was three-fold; (1) to assess the extent to which existing research reflects the multidimensional nature of the term teacher wellbeing, (2) to determine whether a holistic construct of teacher wellbeing could be justified, and (3) to evaluate the methodological quality of studies identified. A systematic review following the PRISMA statement was applied to peer-reviewed papers published between 2016 and 2021. Following the screening of 1,676 studies, this paper reports on findings drawn from a final sample of 61 articles conceptualizing teacher wellbeing. Studies were organized by their dominant discourses, namely negativity/ deficiency, positivity/ flourishing, and/or professionalism. Findings illustrate that teacher wellbeing was primarily conceptualized with a professionalism approach (with 18 of the identified studies taking solely this perspective). This is not completely consistent with the prior work that focused on stress and burnout (negativity/ deficiency approach) while exploring teachers' mental health and wellbeing. More importantly, there were only 6 studies that considered all three discourses together. This paper argues that important information is lost through neglecting alternative lenses, requiring further attention in order to address teacher wellbeing comprehensively. Such an endeavor is essential for shaping interventions and strategies aimed not only at enhancing teacher wellbeing but also at improving student outcomes and, ultimately, the overall quality of education. https://www.crd.york.ac.uk/prospero/display_record.php?ID=CRD42021278549PROSPERO, CRD42021278549.
