This paper applies the situational teaching mode to obstetric clinical nursing. When explaining the nursing operation skills, according to the pre written script, design some common clinical nurse-patient conflicts and carry out situational simulation performances, so as to inspire students to think about how to effectively communicate with patients and their families and establish a harmonious nurse-patient relationship. At the same time, this paper also urges students to improve their initiative of autonomous learning and actively participate in the whole process of learning, rather than passively accept knowledge. Finally, the teaching methods of combining obstetric clinical nursing teaching with experimental teaching were compared to explore the effectiveness of situational teaching simulation teaching mode. Through the experimental comparative analysis, it can be seen that the obstetric clinical nursing teaching model based on situational teaching simulation has a certain effect and has a good guiding significance for the practical teaching of obstetric clinical nursing.

Role of clinical skill training in the formation of skills and professional competencies of midwifery students is important. Hence, the use of "training new methods are essential in clinical settings." This study aimed at determining the effectiveness of simulation training in obstetric emergencies. In this meta-analysis study, international databases of Web of Science, Scopous, Proquest, and PubMed and Iranian databases such as Irandoc, Magiran, and SID were searched for studies published between 2000 and 2020 using related keywords. Based on the consortium checklist, the full text of the selected articles was reviewed and in case of a specific score, the article was analyzed. The results show that, out of 420 studies after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, only nine clinical trial articles were reviewed. Studies were conducted in Iran, the United States, France, China, and Chicago. The results of meta-analysis showed that the simulation training method can be effective in managing midwifery emergencies. Hence, the use of simulation training method can be effective in various areas of learning related to obstetric emergencies.

BACKGROUND
Contradictory interactions between bereaved women who have experienced pregnancy loss and obstetric nursing staff are becoming increasingly prominent. The aim of the present study was to gain an understanding of how women who have experienced pregnancy loss and obstetric nursing staff perceive their interactions, what influencing factors impacted their experiences.
METHODS
A qualitative, exploratory study was conducted in a delivery room and six maternity wards of a tertiary hospital. Semi-structured interviews were performed with six nurses, 13 midwives and seven women who experienced pregnancy loss to collect rich information about how they make sense of their interactions. Thematic analysis was adopted to analyse the data.
RESULTS
Five overarching themes were identified: (1) interaction characteristics, (2) interactive contradiction, (3) influencing factors of the interaction, (4) training needs and (5) suggestions for benign interactions.
CONCLUSIONS
Healthcare providers should be instructed in adopting a respectful and sympathetic attitude in communication, strengthening information support and offering patient-centred care for benign interactions. Ignoring women's needs and using disrespectful words should be avoided. Training for preparing nurses and midwives in perinatal bereavement care and addressing heavy emotional burden is necessary. Additional efforts are needed to improve medical services and to facilitate benign interactions in induced abortion care.

The obstetric and gynecological service providers' and recipients' perception and experience of the quality of obstetric triage services during the COVID-19 pandemic in Iran.
BACKGROUND
Enhancing the quality of obstetric triage services requires a clear perception of the current situations and problems, this issue gained more importance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to explore the obstetric and gynecological service providers' and recipients' perception and experience of the quality of obstetric triage services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
METHODS
This research was a qualitative study carried out using conventional content analysis. Participants were selected through purposive sampling, and data collection was conducted using in-depth semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed using MAXQDA software and conventional content analysis. Validity of the data was approved based on four criteria: credibility, dependability, conformability and transferability.
RESULTS
Five themes emerged through analysis: "unpreparedness to deal with the COVID-19 resulting in disorganized triage", "threat to the physical and mental health of personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic", "degradation of the quality of services due to improper triage structure during the COVID-19 pandemic", "communicating with patients which is neglected during the COVID-19 pandemic" and finally "accountability required to improve the provision of services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
CONCLUSION
Obstetrics and gynecology service providers and recipients faced formidable challenges in the triage department during this pandemic caused by the complex and ambiguous nature of the Coronavirus. Identifying the problems, barriers and challenges in providing services to patients in this situation especially in triage, can lead to an improvement in the outcome of services.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of this systematic literature review is to review current scientific knowledge on the definition of and the indications for maternal/obstetric intensive care (MIC).
METHODS
We conducted a extensive search in OVID MEDLINE, EMBASE, COCHRANE, CINHAL and CEBAM using the keywords: maternal/obstetric intensive care, subacute care, intermediate care, postacute care, critical care, sub intensive care, progressive patient care, postnatal care, perinatal care, obstetrical nursing, neonatology, pregnancy, maternal mortality/morbidity and pregnancy complication. A total of 180 articles and one guideline were identified and supplemented by a hand search. After title, abstract and full text evaluation, the articles and guideline were subjected to critical appraisal.
RESULTS
Out of 180 potentially relevant articles, we identified 44 eligible articles of which 14 relevant MIC-articles of relatively good quality were selected. The concept 'maternal intensive care' was not found elsewhere, "high-dependency care" and "obstetrical intermediate care" appeared to be best comparable to what is understood as a MIC-service in Belgium. This thorough literature search resulted in a limited amount of scientific literature, with most studies retrospective observational tertiary centre based. No clear definition and admission criteria for maternal intensive care were found.
CONCLUSION
This systematic literature review revealed that 1) there is no standard definition of maternal intensive care and 2) that admission criteria to a MIC unit differ widely. Further research is needed to create an evidence-based triage system to help clinicians attribute women to the appropriate level of care and thus stimulate an efficient utilization of maternal/obstetric intensive care services.

Blockchain, as an emerging force transforming the Internet, has applications in finance, logistics, public services, and other fields. It will also have a huge impact on the medical and health industry. The salient features of blockchain technology include guaranteeing information security and user privacy, decentralization, without the involvement of third-party trust institutions, and being able to establish a high-value input and output two-way system, which has a very important application space in obstetric care, medical, and health. The traditional medical and health system is far from being able to meet the information exchange between doctors and individuals. Therefore, building an interconnected obstetric care and health system based on blockchain technology is the direction of future obstetric care and medical development. This paper has conducted an in-depth study of the obstetric care medical health system, with the help of the Internet of Things, blockchain, and other technical means; the purpose is to realize the sharing and security of medical data and to break the limitations of traditional user information. This paper builds a medical electronic health record system model and a hybrid consensus model based on blockchain technology to realize the safety and transparency of patients' personal medical information data and achieve two-way communication and interconnection of information between doctors and patients. This paper analyzes the current status of domestic and foreign medical and health systems and the blockchain-based medical electronic health record system. It is concluded that the domestic investment in medical and health in 2018 was as high as 113.2 billion yuan, and the entire investment scale is continuously expanding. Pay attention to the health system. In the future, the obstetric care and medical health system based on blockchain technology will surely be realized and improved.

BACKGROUND
In Chicago, maternal morbidity and mortality is six times more likely among Black birthing people than white, despite policy initiatives to promote maternal health equity. Disparities in maternal morbidity and mortality reflect experiences of structural inequities - including limited quality obstetric care, implicit bias, and racism resulting patient mistrust in the health care system, inadequate social support, and financial insecurity. Although there is published literature on Black women's experiences with obstetric care, including experiences with individual and structural racism, little is known about the intersection of age and race and experiences with health care. The purpose of this study was to explore the maternal health and pregnancy experiences of young Black women utilizing an intersectional theoretical lens.
METHODS
In this study, we conducted two focus groups in a sample of 11 young Black pregnant people. We conducted a thematic analysis to identify codes, themes, and subthemes of the data.
RESULTS
We developed two overarching themes: obstetric racism and obstetric resistance. To elucidate how obstetric racism framed our participants' healthcare experiences, we identified sub-themes: intersectional identities as young Black women, medical mistrust, and pregnancy trauma. The second major theme describes ways in which participants protected themselves against obstetric racism to engender positive health experiences. These methods of resistance included identifying advocates and relying on trusted providers.
CONCLUSIONS
The current standard of obstetric care in the US is suboptimal due to individual and structural racism. This study provides unique data on the experiences with health care for young, Black pregnant individuals and delivers valuable insight into how individual and structural racism impacts obstetric care for young Black women.
