A species of facultatively anaerobic, gram negative, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is motile by peritrichous flagella, citrate, indole and adonitol positive, hydrogen sulfide negative in Kliger's agar, phenylalanine negative and does not grow in KCN medium.
