Review
COVID-19-associated cutaneous manifestations are one of the most important and relatively common extra-respiratory presentations of SARS-COV-2 infection. The exact identification and classification of these lesions can facilitate the accurate diagnosis and treatment. There are several case reports and small case series which describe cutaneous lesions in hands and feet. Currently, there is no scoping review about acral skin manifestations associated with COVID-19. This paper covers the COVID-related acral skin manifestations in 10 entities including acral papulo-vesicular eruption, acral urticarial lesion, acral non-inflammatory purpura and necrosis, acro-ischemia associated COVID-19, acral vasculitis, chilblain-like lesion (COVID Toe), acral erythema multiform (EM) like lesion, hand and foot skin lesions associated with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MISC), acral peeling conditions and red half-moon nail sign. Future studies should focus on exact investigation of etiologies of these lesions including role of immune senescence, environment, gender, immunogenetics and relation of these lesion with major organ involvements.

Review
Erythema dyschromicum perstans is a rare, chronic, pigmentary disorder with unknown etiology. It clinically presents with oval to round, gray, blue, or brown macules of various sizes. The etiology remains unknown; however, cobalt allergy, radio contrast media, intestinal parasites, human immunodeficiency virus, and hypothyroidism have been proposed as causative factors. In addition, vitiligo is characterized by depigmented macules and patches that are widely andsymmetrically distributed. It has been suggested that autoimmune mechanisms play an important role in the etiopathogenesis of vitiligo. Physical and emotional stress can trigger vitiligo in genetically predisposed patients. However, coexistence of erythema dyschromicum perstans and vitiligo is extremely rare, and similar immune mechanisms have been implicated in the pathogenesis of these cutaneous pigmentary disorders.

BACKGROUND
Rowell syndrome (RS) is an uncommon condition characterized by erythema multiforme (EM)-like lesions and lupus erythematosus. It is more common in females, and EM may be the first manifestation of the disease with positive autoantibodies, such as antinuclear antibody (ANA), SSA, SSB and rheumatoid factor. The pathogenesis of RS is unknown and is likely caused by drug induction, ultraviolet exposure and infection.
METHOD
We describe a case of RS from China which presented as characteristic targetoid-like lesions and chilblain-like erythema on hands and feet. This is a case of RS in a female patient from the inpatient department of dermatology.
RESULTS
A 41-year-old female with systemic lupus erythematosus exhibited chilblain-like erythema and characteristic EM lesions on her extremities. She tested positive for serum ANA (1:320) and anti-double-stranded DNA, as well as other autoantibodies. Systemic glucocorticoids and hydroxychloroquine worked effectively for her.
CONCLUSION
The present case met diagnostic criteria of RS. Notably, there was a co-occurrence of facial butterfly erythema, chilblain-like erythema and EM lesions distributed on the limbs in this case.

Skin damage is the most common and most important toxicity during and after radiation therapy (RT). Its assessment and understanding of the factors influencing its occurrence, is a major issue in the management of patients irradiated for an early breast cancer. CANTO is a prospective clinical cohort study of 10 150 patients with stage I-III BC treated from 2012 to 2017 in 26 cancer centres. In our study, we used CANTO-RT, a subcohort of CANTO, including 3480 patients who received RT. We are focus on specific skin toxicities: erythema, fibrosis, telangiectasia and cutaneous pigmentation. The prevalence of toxicities of interest varied over time, so at baseline for early toxicity Month (M) 0-3-6, 41.1% of patients had erythema while 24.8% of patients had fibrosis. At M12 and M36, the prevalence of erythema decreased, respectively, while fibrosis remains stable. The prevalence of telangiectasia increases from 1% to 7.1% from M0-3-6 to M36. After adjustments, we showed an association between the occurrence of skin erythema and obesity; the type of surgery; the presence of axillary dissection; the use of taxane-based CT and the 3D vs IMRT irradiation technique. Regarding fibrosis, an association is found, at M0-3-6, with age at diagnosis, obesity, tobacco and the use of boost. Only obesity and the type of surgery received by the patient remained statistically significant at M12 and M36. In our study we identified several risk factors for acute and late skin reactions. The use of a boost was mainly related to the occurrence of fibrosis while the use of IMRT-type technique decreased the occurrence of skin erythema.

A 39-year-old Hispanic man presented with widespread, symmetric, hyperpigmented, brown-gray-blue, oval-to-circular, discrete and coalescing patches on the upper extremities, trunk, neck and face, many with an associated annular erythematous border. Histopathologic features showed an interface dermatitis, thin lichenoid and superficial perivascular infiltrates, and dermal melanophages. These changes were consistent with a diagnosis of erythema dyschromicum perstans (EDP). The etiology of EDP is unknown, but many associations have been described. The rim of erythema that appears during the inflammatory phase of the disorder distinguishes it from other disorders of hyperpigmentation. There is no consistently effective treatment for EDP. We highlight the use of narrow-band UV B phototherapy in the treatment of this disorder, which has shown good success in our patient thus far.

Review
Pararamosis is a medical condition, described in the latex extracting areas of the Amazon (rubber tree regions), resulting from contact with the caterpillar of the Premolis semirufa moth. The disease can present itself in an acute form-similarly to other erucisms (injuries caused by moth larvae in humans)-or in a chronic form, typically characterized by the occurrence of changes in the joints of the hands. Because of its importance, in the context of tropical diseases, the objective of this article was to review the main facets of the disease, emphasizing the different pathogenic aspects of the interaction between the arthropod and man.

BACKGROUND
Polynucleotides (PN) are increasingly used for the treatment of facial erythema in the Republic of Korea. However, there are limited pre-clinical and clinical data on the efficacy of polynucleotides for facial erythema. In this study, we investigated the current practice and perceived effectiveness of polynucleotide treatment for facial erythema among cosmetic physicians.
METHODS
By conducting a survey among clinicians who use PN in clinical practice, we explored the current practices and assessed the perceived effectiveness of polynucleotides in treating facial erythema.
RESULTS
A total of 557 physicians who used polynucleotides for facial erythema participated in the survey. Polynucleotides were used by 84.4%, 66.4%, and 47.4% of physicians for facial erythema caused by inflammatory facial dermatosis, repeated laser/microneedle radiofrequency, and steroid overuse, respectively. Among those users, 88.1%, 90%, and 83.7% respectively in those same categories answered that polynucleotides were "highly effective" or "effective." Furthermore, they agreed that polynucleotides have the following properties: wound healing/regeneration (95.8%), protection of skin barrier (92.2%), hydration (90.5%), vascular stabilization (81.0%), and anti-inflammation (79.5%).
CONCLUSION
Our findings showed that cosmetic physicians in the Republic of Korea have used PN as a part of combination treatment for facial erythema resulting from inflammatory facial dermatosis and repeated laser/ microneedle radiofrequency, rather than from steroid overuse. Also, most clinicians agreed that PN was effective for treatment of facial erythema. Given the lack of pre-clinical and clinical trial evidence, the empirical responses of practicing physicians provide useful information to guide clinical practice and further research.
